The ex-showroom price is INR 1,09,000 in Bangalore and is as low as INR 97,500 in Delhi.

Price of Ather 450S
Ather Energy is India's leading electric scooter manufacturer, and it is the country’s first intelligent electric vehicle manufacturing company. The company revealed new prices for its entry-level scooter of entry variant - the 450S. To make the scooter more accessible to a larger audience, Ather is providing the new variant, the 450S, at a starting price of Rs. 1,09,000 in Bangalore and Rs. 97,500 in Delhi. The electric vehicle is built on Ather’s best-selling 450 platforms. The 450S offers a leading performance and technology in comparison with 125cc petrol scooters and electric vehicle scooters, such as a 5-year battery warranty, category-leading torque and acceleration, India's first Deep View Display Dashboard, etc.

Commenting about the modified price of the Ather 450S, Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy, said, “Ather is beginning an aggressive growth journey to tap into the increasing demand for electric scooters. To meet this demand, we are making about 100 more retail touchpoints this quarter. This would make a total of 350 touchpoints. Apart from this, we have reintroduced our entry-level electric scooter, the Ather 450S, at a very affordable price point that appeals to a larger set of buyers. At this new price, the Ather 450S makes for a strong value proposition, rendering the quality and assurance of Ather at a more accessible price point.”
Features of Ather 450S
The Ather 450S, designed and made in India from scratch, has a battery capacity of 2.9 kWh, a top speed of 90 km/h, an IDC range of 115km, and an acceleration of 0-40 in 3.9 sec. The scooter has a 7-inch Deep View display with a 1000:1 contrast ratio. It comes with the industry-first auto-brightness, and it also has 18-segment characters offering superior readability at any time of the day. Also, a safety feature like Fall Safe can find changes in the vehicle’s acceleration, speed, and orientation when the rider is about to fall over.
Ather has incorporated the ‘Emergency Stop Signal’, a regulation from Europe, in the Indian market and coasting regen, which increases range by up to 7%. As a first in the industry, the inbox-to-scooter feature gives destination addresses from other apps (like WhatsApp/ Telegram/Instagram DM, etc.) directly at the Ather dashboard through the Ather app. The customers of the 450S have the option to choose the Pro Pack over the core settings. This pack unlocks the feature, Ride Assist, AtherStack updates, and Ather Connect, and Ather battery protection (free for 3 years) at an extra cost of Rs. 10,000.
Ather provides a Battery Protect feature that increases the battery warranty to 5 years/60,000 kms. This industry-first warranty program covers battery failures but guarantees at least 70% state-of-health for the battery by the end of 5 years. With this, the customers need not worry about the scooter's range decreasing after a few years of usage and will be able to get maximum performance, ride after ride. This reaffirms the faith of the buyers in the battery’s performance and longevity of all Ather electric vehicles. The 450X has recently been provided with Ather Battery Protect, making it a 3 +2 years coverage. Ather 450 Plus buyers can purchase this extra 2-year warranty for Rs. 6,999.
Ather Energy has one of the largest two-wheeler fast-charging networks in India. Presently, there are more than 1700 Ather Grids and fast charging stations across 140+ cities. The Ather company has planned to install a total of 2500 Ather Grids by March 2024. These chargers are located across cities and national highways which enables the customer to do an intercity ride without any range anxiety. Apart from this, Ather also has a trip planner that provides the most optimal suggestion of route along with a map and suggests the right Ather Grid chargers for intercity trips as well.
